Events Coming in 2025!
From dog training workshops to dog retreats to the newsletter, there’s exciting new things happening this year at Translating Dog!
This month is the beginning of the Translating Dog newsletter. It’s a once a month letter sent right to your mailbox, collecting any information I’ve shared across our social media pages so you can have news items and videos at your fingertips, and probably new bits and pieces I decide to share. With me in charge, who knows? But it’ll definitely tell you what I’ve been up to and what’s coming up. You can sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of every single page. Just look for the Tail Wagging News!
March brings springtime — at least if you live in Southern California, where I’ll be giving a one-day workshop! Get a crash course in dog language, learn some important basics like “come,” how to settle down, and loose leash walking, have some lunch and enjoy other dog parents! We’ll be at a lovely house in the mountains in the Inland Valley. Class is limited to about ten humans and fewer dogs, so check it out or sign up now.
Of course, April showers bring May flowers everywhere else, so join us for an entire weekend this April. Eight to thirteen human/dog families will join Scout and me for an in-depth weekend retreat at the gorgeous Scholl’s Valley Lodge outside Portland, OR. Our unique training in dog body language will serve you well as you meet other pet parents, learn how to teach your dog new behaviors, and see your best furry friend pick up delightful new abilities. We’ll solve problems and teach manners in a friendly, fun atmosphere from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon! Learn more at this secret page, which hasn’t even been linked to the website yet, or reserve your spot before they fill up!
Is that really not enough? How about a one-day workshop in Salem, OR shortly after the retreat, or even another retreat late summer/early fall? Whaaaat? I know, it’s bustling around here!
Sign up for the newsletter and watch this space for more details as they come. You know I’ll be shouting about them!
