How I Can Help
1
Dog Bite Safety
In 2001 the CDC reported 2.5 million bites to kids under 18. Since then, that number has risen. Teach your kids what to do before something goes wrong.
2
“Ask First”?
Most bites are by a dog known to be friendly with children. Often these dogs are in pain or fear. Teach your kids what this looks like, so they avoid the problem entirely.
3
Psychology
Instinct, classical conditioning, operant conditioning. Spice up the class room with real-life experience in what these terms mean and how they’re used.
4
Career Fair
Give teenagers some unusual ideas for their future and let them think outside the box. Jenna will answer any and all questions, happily.
Where We Go
Jenna is in Salem, OR and will travel as far north as Portland and as far south as Corvallis. we’re invested in increasing knowledge for all, and decreasing bite risk — especially for our children.
Have a school or group idea not listed here? Reach out! We’re always interested in new ways to help.
Prices and Services
With over 25 years experience, Jenna has worked with multiple teachers, schools, and private groups interested in incorporating real life scenarios, and teaching kids dog safety.
As a way of giving back she keeps these prices as close to cost as possible, and brings hand outs for people to keep, a presentation with real time video and pictures, and living examples to practice with (when safe and appropriate).
