Dog aggressive to family friend
I wanted a dog that I could take anywhere, so our first trip to the dog park, when Zoe attacked, I was so disappointed. Jenna worked with us in person and virtually over the course of a year and Zoe goes everywhere with us now! I can see when she’s overstimulated and can take measures to keep her feeling safe and calm. Everyone always comments on Zoe’s sweet behavior!
Dog Psychologist
I had a lot of experience with rescues and had even gone through a program and became a dog trainer in my younger years. I previously had large personal and foster dogs including reactive dogs and had got them to a manageable place so when a 5 month old German shepherd entered my life that had so much baggage I couldn’t turn my back on, I quickly learned I needed help. He would throw himself into a full body tantrum if a dog was 400 feet away. We worked with other trainers and made small progress but not enough for us to have a normal life. Jenna then entered our life and worked with us and him, trying all the tricks, he became the model citizen everyone commented how great of a dog he is. He will always have some reactive tendencies but we are able to work with him and have a full quality life. He is now 8 years old and every vet tells us they wished all GSDs were like him. Jenna understands how dogs think and that is critical in helping a dog become a model citizen in a human world.

Magical Dog Training
During the pandemic, I adopted Harper. She didn’t walk on a leash and was adopted and returned twice before she was adopted by me. I had worked with Harper on my own for nearly a year with minimal success, and on the first visit, Jenna was able to teach Harper and I how to work together to enjoy walks! We refer to Jenna as the magician! 😁🥰

Found: Service Soul Dog
Jenna introduced me to my dog a week before the pandemic hit. A previous client was looking for a better home, and as it turns out, Science Pawficer Kes makes my home perfect.
She came to me having done a board and train with Jenna. After adjusting to MN winter and her new home, we went through some local classes to do an obedience refresher and Canine Good Citizen. Because of her prior training with Jenna, Kes ACED CGC.
During the pandemic, I noticed that Kes would naturally start distracting me from panic attacks and self-harm behaviors. Jenna helped me navigate, via virtual meetings and many, many texts, the training needed to turn her from mere companion and bestie to my service dog. We shored up public access, and reinforced her natural behaviors into tasks.
I am so grateful to Jenna for helping me find my soul dog! 🥰

Human Aggression Resolved
Over the past 12 years I have had nothing but a positive experience with Jenna as my dog trainer and friend. She rehabilitated my boxer who was very aggressive and had other issues. The first trainer I interviewed told me to give the dog back, but I already bonded with her. Fortunately, I found Jenna and she was able to help my dog and myself with intensive training. Jenna also helped with my present dog Roxy on her Anxiety and fear aggression. Jenna is the only person I trust to dog sit my dogs when I go on vacation. Not only did she help my dogs with their behavioral issues, She also taught me how to understand my dogs behavior. Jenna has helped my dog with fear and aggressive issues using positive reinforcement techniques Her approach is patient and effective and dogs respond well.

Deeper Relationship
Jenna taught us how redefine our approach to training dogs and overall dog ownership. By learning how to understand and communicate with our corgi and our bully, we have the clearest and closest relationship we’ve ever had with dogs. Every good relationship is all about communication. We can’t thank Jenna enough for providing us with the foundation and guidance for effective training.
