Dog Language and Training Retreat 2026

Great news! I’ve just booked the Scholl’s Valley Lodge space for this spring’s Dog Language and Training Retreat!

Workshops And Retreats

They now have two lodges on the property, and we’ll once again be staying in the upper lodge. There are 12 bedrooms, which are mostly suites, with queen or king sized beds and space for another twin (so people can share rooms if they like).

There’s a massive great room where the dogs can play once they’re allowed off leash, comfortable sitting areas, and a beautiful kitchen. The outside landscaping is breathtaking, overlooking the valley, with wrap-around porches and balconies and comfortable benches, tables, and chairs. We’ll have access to the walking trail, and a screen for the presentation aspect of the retreat.

I’m still looking into the cost for insurance, but I’m hoping to find something a little less expensive than last year. (Insurance was nearly as expensive as renting the lodge was, and was the main reason the prices were so high.) Any savings I can manage I’ll pass on to you guys, because I want as many people there as possible.

Does a weekend away with your dog, around other dog-minded people, while learning about how your dog communicates and building a better relationship with your dog sound like heaven?

You’re welcome to reach out to me now by phone (951-704-5766) or email ([email protected]) and say, “Hey, put me on the short list!” and you’ll get an email as soon as I have a price locked down, before I tell the rest of the world. Last year it was around $1300 + your room at the lodge for 1 dog and 1 person for the weekend, but like I said, I’m hoping to bring that down. But even if I don’t, it’s worth it for a luxury retreat unlike any other!

C’mon and join us! You know you want to. 😉
